Uganda to Host AMI People's Choice Awards 2k18

(DAKAR, SENEGAL)- JANUARY 2018-Preparations are underway for the African Music Industry Awards to be held on April 14, 2018 in Dakar, Senegal at the Grand Theatre National. Prior to the AMI awards show, the AMI People’s Choice Awards Ceremony will be held March 3, 2018 in Kampala, Uganda at the Serena Hotel Kampala. The show will be colored with a Special Fashion Show, with Models of Smize Model Management to Hit the Runway showcasing for Africa's biggest Fashion Designers

The goal of the AMI Awards is to build the largest African Film and Music Industry that brings together all 54 countries. “Our mission of the AMI Awards is to make entertaining and commercially viable, quality motion pictures and music that appeals to a broad audience” states Esaie Schnaps, Founder and Executive Chairman/CEO.
